Athletica’s dance programs develop skills across a broad range: strength, coordination, balance, teamwork, and performance. Through Danceworks, participants will engage in activities that encourage them to perform to their highest ability. As we train to reach new levels of creativity and confidence, our athletes will grow the necessary skills for personal satisfaction both inside and outside of the studio.
BALLET-TAP / BALLET-JAZZ
3-4 YEARS / 5-6 YEARS
Combo classes for mini and kinder age children who love to twirl, jump and perform! These fun and energetic paced classes will introduce young dancers to the basics of Ballet, Tap and Jazz through music and movement. Your dancer will explore coordination, rhythm, and creative expression all while developing foundational dance skills.
BALLET
6-9 YEARS / 10+ YEARS
The perfect class for both first-time dancers and those looking to continue their ballet training. Students will explore ballet technique, posture, flexibility, and musicality in a supportive and encouraging environment. Watch your dancer grow in confidence, coordination, and expression while laying a strong foundation for future training.
JAZZ
6-9 YEARS / 10+ YEARS
Upbeat and high-energy! This class is ideal for both first time dancers and those with some dance experience. Dancers will learn jazz technique, basic isolations, kicks, turns, and combinations—all set to fun, age-appropriate music. A perfect blend of structure and expression for young movers ready to explore the lively world of jazz dance!
MEXICAN FOLKLORE
6-9 YEARS
Live, love learn and develop an appreciation for the arts and Mexican culture. This class aims to promote self confidence, artistic expression, creativity and excellence through quality dance education. Led by instructors certified by the National Mexican Dance Teachers Association, who are dedicated to providing classes with high standards of technique, style and performance.
