How can I register?
Registration can be completed online. You will need to create an Athletica account on the customer portal. Please Click here to Register, or at any time click the Register Now button at the top of the page.
What is the cost and schedule?
Costs and schedules can vary depending on the program, level and age of your child. Tuition and program dates are listed in the class or camp description.

Do you offer discounts on classes?
If your child is registered in more than one class or you have more than one child registered in programs at Athletica, we offer a 5% discount on the additional class or sibling.
What level is my child at?
Preschool classes progress by age. Please register your child according to their age. Students must meet the age requirement of the class within one month of classes starting.
Recreational classes are categorized as follows:
- Gym Fun – Introductory / 5-6 Years
- Gym Learners – Beginner / 6-12 Years
- Gym Trainers – Intermediate / 8-13 Years
*Pre-requisites: Completion of Gym Learners or coaches’ recommendation after completion of an assessment. - Gym Masters – Advanced / 8-13 Years

You can view your child’s skill chart on your Athletica account. We also recommend checking in with your child’s coach before or after class to keep up to date with your child’s progress.
What is the AGF membership fee?
The AGF Membership fee is an annual fee that covers insurance for your child with Alberta Gymnastics Federation. Athletica Gymnastics is a member of the Alberta Gymnastics Federation and athletes participating within our club are required to have a current AGF Membership. The fee is valid from July 1 to June 30 of each year.
The Membership fee will be automatically added to your invoice at the time of registration.
Where is the gym located? Is there parking?
Athletica is located at 1338 36 Avenue NE, Unit #134 in Calgary, AB. We are just off Deerfoot Trail and 32 Ave NE, overlooking McCall Lake Golf Course.
There is ample parking located at the front of the building, facing McCall Lake Golf Course.
*For the safety of all children, always walk your child to the door when dropping them off and pick them up inside the building.
What should my child wear?
We recommend leotards, shorts and a t-shirt or other comfortable clothing that allows for a full range of motion. Long hair should be neatly pulled back.
Please, no socks or shoes. We discourage jewellery, hooded sweatshirts, jeans, street pants, belts, zippers, and baggy clothing.
Please remember to bring a water bottle to class.
*Cubbies are provided to store water bottles, jackets and other items. Please remember to take all items home with you. Athletica is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
*Leotards are available for purchase in our office.
Can I watch my child's class?
Yes, we have a viewing area for parents and visitors.
Please be respectful of students and coaches. Concentration is very important in our classes so please do not distract them in any way.
Please help us keep all children safe by monitoring young children and siblings closely. We ask that no one stand or climb on chairs, tables, benches, cubbies, or counters.
Children and adults are NOT PERMITTED in any of the instructional areas unless they are currently enrolled and an instructor is present.
Can my child make up a missed class?
What is the withdrawal policy?
Withdrawal notification must be received by email to [email protected] by the 15th of the month to avoid payment for the following month.
- Withdrawal requests received after the 15th of the month will be applied to the end of the following month.
- June is a block month, which means that April 15th is the last date to request withdrawals and avoid payments for both May and June.
- The AGF Membership Fee is non-refundable.
- No refunds or credits are given for missed classes. Exceptions will only be made with a doctor’s note for injury/illness.
- Withdrawal requests received before August 15th 2024 are subject to a $30 withdrawal/service fee per person.
- It is not possible to pause monthly payments while not attending classes.
- Exceptions will only be made with a doctor’s note.
