Calgary’s Athletica Gymnastics offers a variety of camps for kids throughout all seasons – Winter, Spring/Easter, and Summer.

Ages
- 5 to 12 years old
- Any child requiring one-on-one supervision will require a worker or responsible adult to accompany them.
Price
Full Week, 5 Days / Full-Day – 9:00 to 4:00 pm
- Fees: $350
- *Price does not include GST & the Alberta Gymnastics Federation membership (this membership is good for one year from July 2022 to June 2023).*A $75 deposit is required to secure your spot, (this will be applied towards the AGF membership and service fees) and it is non-refundable, withdrawal can be done 1 week prior to the commencing of the camp (please read withdrawal policy below). Full payment is required 5 days prior to the start of the camp.
HALF DAY, 9:00 TO 12:00 PM OR 1:00 TO 4:00PM
- Fees: $205

Deposit and Fees
*A non-refundable $75 deposit is required at the time of registration to secure your spot. The full payment will be processed 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the camp, any withdrawals must be requested before this 2-week mark (please read our withdrawal policy below).
Complimentary Pre or Post Care
We offer complimentary pre and post-care from 8:30 to 9:00 am and from 4:00 to 4:30 pm.
Additional hourly care available:
- Before care available from 7:30 am ($10 per hour per child)
- Aftercare available until 5:30 pm ($10 per hour per child)
* Any child requiring one-on-one supervision will require a worker or responsible adult to accompany them for the duration of the camp.
Discounts
- Siblings get a 5% discount
- If registered in 2 or more Athletica summer camps you will receive 5% off of the second and third camp.
- No refunds will be issued once the camp has begun only credit for future classes will be issued.
What to Bring
- Water bottle (we have a filtered water station)
- towel or yoga mat
- Full-day campers please bring one bagged lunch and 2 snacks. Half-day campers 2 snacks. We recommend that you pack extra food as the kids are on the go all day! Please pack nut-free food only.
- Gym suit, shorts or track pants and t-shirt
- Extra clothes for younger children.
Important Information

*Athletica reserves the right to cancel a camp if minimum numbers are not met.
Withdrawal Policy
Withdrawals will only be accepted prior to the commencing of the camp. A $30 cancellation fee plus service fees (per student) will be charged to any withdrawals. The Alberta Gymnastics Federation Membership is non-refundable.
*Once classes have started there will be no refunds issued unless it is for medical reasons. If this is due to COVID-19 AHS guidelines an online credit minus the $30 cancellation fee will be issued to your Athletica online account, this credit does not expire and it is fully transferable. In any other case, a doctor’s note will be required to issue this refund.
*In all cases, classes attended, the admin fees and the AGF fees are non-refundable under any circumstances

In order to provide a better service, we offer a low ratio per coach and we only open a limited number of spots for our Summer Camps!
Parents & Kids Night Out
Are you looking for a great way to entertain your children and get out of the house? Go to dinner, see a movie, or just stay home and relax! Parents & Kids Night Out is just what you need!
Don’t worry about your child(ren); they will be having a blast with us at Athletica Gymnastics! Come check us out. The kids are taken care of while you enjoy some ‘me’ time! Our coaching staff will lead your child(ren) in activities such as flashlight tag, obstacle courses, gymnastics skills, board games, movie and many more activities to discover. We provide a safe and fun environment (and a snack too)! We are better than babysitters!
*In case of allergies, we ask participants to bring their own snack.

Daytime Rentals & School Groups
Are you interested in new ways to enhance your school’s physical education classes?
Partnering with schools to enhance their physical education programs, Athletica gymnastics provides quality instruction and aims to deliver fun and engaging gymnastics sessions. We give children the opportunity to develop their gymnastics skills in a state of the art environment that offers a wide range of activities to greatly benefit youth.
Supplement to PE Classes
Here at Athletica Gymnastics Centre, we recognize that not all schools have access to a wide range of gymnastics equipment. Gymnastics present an excellent opportunity to develop youth across a range of necessary physical skills that will benefit participants for years to come. Our programs are designed for all age groups and skill levels. Whether you are wanting to take a one time trip to our facility or would like to set up a recurring program at Athletica, we are excited to offer our assistance and experience to you and your class!
Developing Physical Literacy
Training in a gym can bring strength and power, however, it neglects the many areas that gymnastics enriches. Consider how balance, flexibility, and coordination are all interrelated and necessary skills in any sport or activity – gymnastics is a discipline that is focused on improving these areas in addition to strength and power.
Unlike most physical training programs, gymnastics will use and train muscle groups and body positions that are otherwise often untrained and underutilized.
Through a series of exciting and safe activities, participants will develop their ability to control their bodies in a range of situations. Motions, springs, swings, statics, rotations, and landings all work towards building muscle memory that crosses over into everyday life. It is a rewarding experience that may empower young athletes to excel in their own physical education.

Each class is conducted with certified instructors that walk participants through activities geared towards their unique abilities and prior experience. Each student will develop a foundational understanding of gymnastics as they experience a full range of structures and platforms in our facility. We have all of the equipment necessary on hand to ensure a safe and exciting experience each trip, creating the best experience possible for your class on each trip. We maintain an enthusiastic environment that is inclusive and motivational for everyone involved.

As in all activities, SAFETY should be foremost. Our coaches ensure activities are appropriate to the skill and developmental level of the children, equipment is safety approved, properly maintained and used appropriately.
