Pre-Competitive & XCEL

Our Pre-Competitive Program is for gymnasts who excel in the Recreational Program and want to be challenged. This program is by invite after a successful try out. There are 3 levels (Beginner, Intermedium & Advance). Children do not experience any competitions until Advance level is reached. They have 3 physical abilities tests scheduled during the year and a performance at the end of year showcase.

This program is designed for little gymnasts that show a keen gymnastics attitude and demonstrate athletic qualities such as flexibility, strength and coordination. The rules of the gym and proper gym etiquette is also introduced to these little gymnasts as this program may become a stepping stone into the girls competitive program in the future.

These classes run two or three days a week, for a total of 4 or 6 hours/week.

Our Interclub Programs are for gymnasts that want to be challenged and taste the gymnastics competition program, while doing other activities. This program is invite only. There are 7 levels and multiple age levels. Children do not experience any competition until age 8. They have an in-house assessment and they get placed at the level they can succeed and be challenged.

This class focuses on gymnastics as the core component to be fit. Gymnasts will work on flexibility, strength and balance, as well as learning the XCEL routines or the Junior Olympic Program routines. They will show their routine at the end of the season, but will also have the option to participate in Interclub Competitions.

Team Altius will run twice a week (for a total of 3, 4 or 6 hours/week accordingly to their level) to encourage skill retention and will focus on a more technical aspect of skill development.
